If you're in an area where it's illegal to view homosexual acts, LEAVE, if homosexuality offends, GO! Disclaimer: I don't know Jake Gyllenhaal, now do I claim to know anything about his private life. This work is entirely fictional. Chapter 50: Fighting with the lock for a short time, Danny finally managed to unlock the door, pushing it open and making his way inside. Placing Jakes backpack on the kitchen counter, he looked around the living room, noticing the clothes spread around the floor; he smiled and quietly folded the clothes. Hearing the bedroom door opening, he panicked for a moment. He didn't want to look like he was spying on the boys. Rubbing his eyes as he pulled the door open, Jake smiled at Danny, "Hey man, what's up?" "Oh, I just brought your stuff down," Danny replied with a shy smile. "I didn't mean to disturb you." Shaking his head, Jake readjusted the waistband of his underwear and smiled at Danny, "I've been awake for a while. I was just on my way up to grab my stuff actually." "You're going?" Danny enquired. Jake nodded, "I have to go back to LA." Sitting down at the bar and looking Danny in the eye, he explained, "I'm going to stick around until Chris wakes up, I don't want him to think I've left him." "Good idea." Danny replied as he rested his hand on Jakes bare shoulder. "Are you two still buying that apartment?" "Definitely," Jake responded eagerly. "I mean as soon as this shit is sorted out." Danny smiled warmly and quickly hugged the man before him, "That's great. You're perfect together." "Thanks." Jake replied shyly as he rested his head on Danny's shoulder. "I'm going to wake Chris up." "Okay." Danny responded softly before quickly kissing Jake on the cheek. "So I guess I will see you around." Smiling again, Jake looked him in the eye before readjusting Danny's glasses. "Of course you will, I will be here as often as I can." "You'd better be." Danny whispered. Lightly grabbing Jakes arms he smiled at him, "Now get in there and spend time with your boyfriend." "Is that an order?" Jake joked. Smirking at Jakes statement Danny nodded, "If it needs to be." Letting out a small chuckle, Jake saluted Danny and replied, "Aye aye Sir." Watching Danny head back out of the apartment, he turned and headed back into the bedroom. Carefully crawling back under the covers, Jake once again pulled Chris close to his body and gently kissed his forehead. Stirring slightly, Chris opened his eyes slowly and smiled up at Jake. Jake smiled proudly as he watched Chris stretch slightly within his arms before whispering, "Good morning." "Mmmm." Chris mumbled as he crawled his way up Jakes body to bring their lips together. "Good morning to you too." Running his hands down from Jakes neck and down his body, he smiled nervously went he encountered the fabric around Jakes waist. "Why are you dressed and I'm still naked?" "I like you like that." Jake replied coyly. After staring into Chris' eyes for a few moments longer, he finally rolled him over and slipped his tongue between Chris' lips. "You stay here, I'll be back soon." Whimpering as Jake slid off him, Chris stared at him for a moment before pouting, "Are you leaving me already?" Turning around, Jake gently stroked his cheek and gently brushed his lips against Chris' one more time before smiling, "Of course not," Ruffling Chris' hair, he continued. "I'm making you breakfast." Chris let out a high-pitched noise, which surprised Jake before grabbing his hand. "Just like you were planning to do in our place." "You bet." Jake replied softly. "I have some time before my flight leaves, so I want to do this for you." "You're so sweet." Chris sighed before leaning back onto bed and grabbing Jakes pillow, bringing it close to his body. From the bed, he had a good view out of the door and into the kitchen. Watching Jake as he floated around the kitchen, he blushed as Jake would occasionally glance up from the cook top and smile warmly him. Grabbing a pair of underwear from the wardrobe close to the bed, he quickly slipped them on just as Jake reentered the room. Smirking at Chris slipping the underwear on, Jake sat down on the bed next to him. "Breakfast in Bed, A La Jake." "What have we here?" Chris asked as he sat up in the bed and smiled at Jake. Examining the tray, he placed his hand on Jakes, playing momentarily with the ring. "Well," Jake whispered. "You haven't really got much in the kitchen." Leaning over carefully, so as to not spill the tray, he brought his lips to Chris' before continuing, "About the only thing I could make for you was scrambled eggs." Picking up the fork, Chris looked over at Jake again, who was eagerly waiting for him to start eating. Looking away for a moment, he returned his eyes to meet Jakes and blushed. "I can't eat with an audience." "Sorry." Jake apologized. "I just want to get in as much Chris time as possible." "Aren't you sweet." Chris replied as he kissed Jake again before sticking the fork in his mouth. Smiling with his mouth full of egg, he looked over at Jake and mumbled, "It's good." Swallowing the egg, he continued, "I have the best boyfriend ever." Beaming with pride Jake shifted his position so he could hold Chris within his arms. "I can't wait till we can do this everyday in our place." "Me either." Chris admitted as he continued nibbling this way through the meal. Once he had finished, he placed the tray to his side and snuggled back into Jakes arms. "How much longer till I'm stuck without you?" Looking at the clock on the side of the bed, Jake sighed, "I should leave in an hour." "Fuck." Chris muttered as he grabbed Jakes hand. "I suppose you will need to shower then." Leading Jake into the bathroom, he turned the shower on and quickly stripped him off along with his own underwear. Pulling Chris closer to his wet, naked body, Jake rested his head against Chris' and sighed. "I wish I could stay here with you." Bringing his lips to meet Jakes, Chris smiled, "I wish you were staying too." A short time later, the boys finally dragged themselves out of the shower. After drying off, Jake followed Chris out into the bedroom. "Did you bring clothes with you?" Chris asked as he headed to the wardrobe. Jake immediately shook his head, "I didn't think I'd be staying overnight." "Oh?" Chris enquired. "You didn't think I'd want you to be with me?" "Not really." Jake replied solemnly. Wrapping his arms tightly around Chris' waist, he kissed him behind the ear before explaining, "I was pretty sure you were going to tear up that paperwork." Letting out a deep sigh, he rested his head on Chris' shoulder. Letting out a whine, Chris immediately spun around and kissed Jake. "I'm sorry." "I know." Jake whispered as he stared into Chris' eyes. There was something hypnotizing about his eyes, whether it was the loving stares he would receive from them, or the fact that they managed to undergo complete color changes in short periods of time. Running his hands down Chris' body again, he smirked. "Can I borrow some clothes?" Chris nodded and grabbed a pair of jeans off the shelf. "Try these." He absolutely loved when they were wearing each other's clothes, he always felt safe when he was completely wrapped up in one of Jakes sweaters and he knew Jake felt the same way. Slipping the jeans on, he buttoned the fly up just as Chris pulled out a black sweater. "Is that the one I bought you?" Jake asked as he took it from Chris' hands. "Yeah." Chris whispered. "I had it hidden away, I couldn't bear the thought of getting rid of all our stuff." Grabbing a box from the top shelf, he looked shyly at Jake. "I even kept these close to me." Pulling the sweater on, Jakes vision was impaired for a few seconds by the black cashmere fabric before he saw Chris open the box. "What's this?" Making his way to the bed, Chris readjusted his towel before lying on the edge, "Our life." Pulling one of the frames out, he handed it to Jake. "I didn't want to get rid of any of this, but at the same time, the thought of having them on display was killing me." "Are you letting people know where you are now?" Jake enquired. "Yeah." Chris nodded. "The only person I was hiding from was you to be honest." Looking down at the photograph of himself lying in Jakes arms, he smiled weakly. "I suppose I should keep these hidden until everything works out." Sighing, Jake sat down on the bed and wrapped his arm around Chris' head, leaning down to kiss him on the forehead. "It might be for the best." Looking over at the clock by the bed, he sighed again. "I have to go." Joining Jakes sigh, Chris pouted and looked up at the man he loved. "When will I see you again?" "I'll try to fly out next weekend if I can." Jake admitted. "If not, I will definitely be here next week." "I hope so." Chris whispered. Continuing to look up Jake, he felt a tear creep out of his eye. "This sucks." Looking down at Chris, Jake gently ran his hand over Chris' cheek and over his lips. "I know, but it will be over soon, then we can start our lives together." Glancing over at the clock again, he too, pouted. "I really do have to go now." "Okay." Chris replied in a sad tone. Standing up, he wrapped his arms tightly around Jake, squeezing him tight. "I love you Jake." Chris whispered as he brushed his cheek against Jakes. Intertwining his hands with Chris, Jake led him into the living room before kissing him passionately. Grabbing his backpack, he smiled as he noticed the clothes neatly folded to the side. Chris looked over to see what Jake was looking at. Squeezing his hand momentarily, Chris whispered, "I'll take care of those." "Thanks." Jake replied softly. Wrapping his arms tightly around Chris, he brushed his lips against Chris', slipping his tongue inside to explore his lovers' mouth. "I love you too." "Have a good flight Jake." Chris responded in a cheery tone. Jake smiled at Chris before heading to the door. "I'll call you later. Call Sarah and Terry, they're worried sick about you." Chris nodded in agreement, "I will. Bye Jake." "Bye Cutie!" Jake replied before heading into the hallway. Closing the door behind him, he left Chris alone in the apartment once more. As soon as the door was closed, Chris raced up to it and gently placed his open palm on the door, he missed Jake already. "What am I going to do?" Chris asked as he saw Fergus jump onto the kitchen counter. Grabbing the folded clothes, Chris held Jakes shirt close to his body, basking in Jakes faint aroma before heading over to the stereo and flicking it on. Suddenly the lyrics of the song playing caught his attention. Teardrops in my eyes Running down like a river Feel you when you're gone Even if I know that you are with her You are with her Promises you gave but took back Is my addiction Love you never gave Is my obsession Promises you gave are all I have in mind When you close the door and totally eclipse my soul Rivers drying out The sun will never shine without a reason Make me understand No matter how I cry You still be with her And I'll be alone. Promises you gave but took back Is my addiction Love you never gave Is my obsession Promises you gave are all I have in mind When you close the door and totally eclipse my soul Never gonna feel never gonna heal Always gonna run always try to hide Never gonna feel never gonna heal Always gonna run always try to hide I'll be alone. Promises you gave but took back Is my addiction Love you never gave Is my obsession Promises you gave are all I have in mind When you close the door and totally eclipse my soul. Listening to the announcer for a sign of who sang the song, he quickly wrote it down for future reference before grabbing his phone and dialing Sarah's number. -51 soon- Right now, I'm in the process of transferring my documents to a secondary site, if you can't join my group.
